Upcoming Event: Consensus Conference on the Management of Women with Cytologic and Histologic Abnormalities

The ASCCP, together with 28 other professional societies, organizations, and federal / international agencies, will be holding another Consensus Conference on the Management of Women with Cytologic and Histologic abnormalities at the NIH Natcher Center in September 2006. The electronic bulletin boards for discussing possible modifications to the 2001 Consensus Guidelines are now open at www.asccp.org.

It is important that the cytopathology community provides its input on the bulletin board as to problems encountered during the last 5 years with the guidelines. Your input will all us to make appropriate modifications so that the 2006 Consensus Guidelines meets the needs of everyone involved in the diagnosis and management of cervical disease.
